Earth Being Spirit
Drawn in Taos New Mexico, not long after my vision quest at Hondo Hot Springs near Taos. This is the beginning of what I call my vision quest period. My actual vision had nothing to do with this image, but the feeling is there. This vision quest series lasted for a year and My Native drawings are done representing my readings and inqueeries into Native Culture at that time. Spirit is spirit regardless of religion or Culture. For me, it’s about (Dahama) the daily actions with proper intent. And never denying the divinity in ourselves, or anyone or thing.

Although we are bound to the earth, we long for freedom to be with the divine. To know our true nature that longs to be with the Great Spirit
