I saw a small brown bear a few days earlier while out hiking, so I put it in from memory. While painting a 7 year old girl came bye, looked at the painting, then the subject, the painting … subject… Looked up at me and said, “you are a really good painter”. The Children have the best and freshest unbiased eyes. One of the best complements I’ve ever received.
