Oldest Street in Aubenas France and certainly the most interesting. On a very cool spring morning I brought a chair, a drawing board with good paper and drew this direct. The cars and people did exist at different times. I put in what would add to the composition and interest. Direct sun never hit the interior of this alley, but I put in some highlights for contrast and I wanted the old man indirect light.
